Ambassadors going above and beyond to help

Our sports mentors always strive to encourage and support the kids they assist and for one of our TS4A girls her dream is to pursue a career in football. Our wonderful AFLW ambassadors Erica Fowler and Sophie Alexander invited her to come along to a training session to experience first hand what the it’s like to be part of a professional women’s football team.

We arrived early to meet the girls who were incredibly welcoming; we then took part in the game debrief and watched some videos of the previous week which was fascinating. Then out onto the field to start the drills. Our girl took part in the majority of them and got some amazing feedback from the assistant coach which gave her a huge boost to her confidence. On the way home she said it was the best night of her life!

Having positive role models is extremely important especially during the teen years. The coaches, team managers and peers offer this to our TS4A kids which we have found to be extremely beneficial.

What we do

We help families experiencing severe financial hardship to get their kids playing sport.

Due to their situation they can’t afford the costs to have their children involved in community team sport.

With the cost of living continuing to rise, the need for our services is higher than ever.

We meet the families, connect them with a club, pay their fees & uniform costs, and most importantly give them ongoing support.
